Roadmap
From BasKetUsabilityWiki
[edit] Analysis
In this phase, a survey is conducted and the various data sources available will be analyzed. These include: LikeBack reports, the first usability survey (Aug./Sept. 2006) and the second usability survey.
In a second step, personas will be developed to guide further design. A project vision based on the results will be developed. All the results will be made available for discussion and editing in the BasKet Usability Wiki.
[edit] Redesign
Scenarios will be used to formulate future changes, feature enhancements and additions. Again, these will be open for discussion and will be improved iteratively. As a result, prototypes will be developed to visualize, discuss and test the plans.
[edit] Evaluation
In the evaluation phase, the prototypes will be tested with users. I'm not sure how to do this yet, because coding new features like network-shared baskets are time-consuming to implement, even as a prototype. I haven't found a tool yet running on Linux that fits my needs. I'm not sure if paper prototyping for an already existing tool is enough. The prototypes will be enhanced from usability test session to the next to optimize design.
