A field study examining the lifecycle of so-called micronotes (informal, hurried personal jottings as temporary storage for notable informations or reminders). Many of the notes people drop into BasKet can be seen as micronotes (but not all, as can be seen in the analysis of the first usability survey).
I asked ACM about permission to republish this paper, but they did not answer to a couple of mails. I could republish it here anyway (they wouldn't notice because the responsible people seem not to be using their computers very often), but I'll stay fair.
