OpenUsability project ended, BasKet Usability Project continues

A few days ago, I've sent a short report about the proceedings of the BasKet Usability Project to Ellen Reitmayr who organized the OpenUsability "Season of Usability". Having done this, the offical part of this project as one of the "Season of Usability" projects has ended, which in no way means that the BasKet Usability Project ends. I will stay with the BasKet project because I see usability engineering as a long-term part of the development process, not as a one-shot activity, and also because I like the project and the people in it.

Right now, not much is happening here, because I am writing my diploma thesis which should be done until about the end of August mid-September 2007. After that, I will have more time to spend on this project again.

Thanks to all the people who have helped make this possible or who gave valuable input, especially Sébastien Laoût, Björn Balazs and Ellen Reitmayr. I also thank the "Season of Usability" sponsor for the money, I'm sure I will actually find some practical uses for it. -- Frank 13:50, 20 July 2007 (CEST)

NEW: Planned feature list

People like feature lists, so finally here is one. It is the result of four months of analyzing user feedback, developing personas, problem and future scenarios, and discussing on the mailing list.

Some of the features are already described in detail (not detailed enough, of course), and many are not. If you like, discuss them on the respective discussion pages, on the mailing list or change them. -- Frank 14:38, 3 May 2007 (CEST)

BasKet Usability Wiki now online

In two day's work, the whole BasKet Usability Project website has been transferred to a wiki and is now officially opened. The whole content (except for the comments) have been transferred to the wiki. The wiki makes it even more obvious for everyone interested that this project is open to your participation. Just create yourself an account and you can change or add content.

But please, if you are about to make major changes, discuss this on the mailing list first. -- Frank 14:38, 3 May 2007 (CEST)
